My first big DIY project!!

1950 Salvation Army find...$60.00!!!
I have a odd shaped kitchen and used to have a round wood table for four. But for the past few months I wasn't feeling this table anymore. It was actually driving me crazy! I begged my hubby for a new one, but the frugal man looked at me with a are you crazy look and I knew I had to come up with something new and cheap before I set this round table on fire!! I started surfing the DIY boards and came across this paint called Annie Sloane Chalk Paint. All the rave about it online and pictures of bloggers projects were amazing, the only down fall was it was $$$ and at $34 a quart, yes a quart I didn't know what to do. One morning I woke up and wanted to go thrifting....LOVE IT....so I went to the Salvation Army; you can haggle there haha. I walked in and instantly fell in love with this old, 1950 style buffet table that seats six and had two leafs!! The price on the other hand was high for this beat up OLD table. I had this nice worker guy come up to me and asked me what was wrong. I said this is $$$ for this old thing. He goes yeah, its been here a while, I'll tell ya what...how's $60 bucks sound?...I said sold!!! SO here it is my new OLD table and new project!!
